This policy explains what personal data Deeraf ("Deeraf", "we") collects through this website and while working with clients, why, and what rights you have. Deeraf is the data controller for this data.
What we collect
- Contact form and email: your name, email address, company and the details you send about your project.
- Client work: contact and billing details, and any information you share during a project.
- Server logs: our hosting provider records technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to keep the site secure and running. Your approximate country is used to show prices in your local currency.
This site uses two small functional cookies to remember your currency. It does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other websites.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote (steps before a contract).
- To deliver services and send invoices (performance of a contract and legal obligations).
- To keep the website secure and show prices in your currency (legitimate interest).
Who we share it with
Deeraf doesn't sell personal data. A small number of processors handle data on our behalf: website hosting (Vercel), email delivery for the contact form (Resend), and accounting and payment providers for invoices. Some of these providers may process data outside your country, under standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to a project are deleted within 12 months. Client and invoice records are kept for as long as tax law requires. Server logs are kept for a short period set by the hosting provider.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to or restrict how it's used. Contact Deeraf via the contact form and you'll get a response within one month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Client data in projects
When Deeraf works in your systems it may process data about your users. In that case you are the controller and Deeraf acts as your processor. We're happy to sign a data processing agreement.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
